Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Survivor !!!!

Still haven't got all the endings, and the demon fusion system is addictive enough on it's own. Always trying to get new demons from it.

I just play Puyo Puyo 7/15th Anniversary. lol. The game's competitive play simply owns the competitive play of a lot of other puzzle games. Simple concept, complex strategies.

Phoenix Wright/Apollo Justice.

You wouldn't think a court game would be any fun, but after a while you wont turn off your DS. They're all amazing. Recommended for anyone.

Ragnarok Online DS - still havent beaten all the side quests and might even play it all over again after the US release
picros - getting quite hard at the moment but is great fun to pas the time
pretty much any pokemon game
FF tactics - spent well over 100 hrs on it

Metroid Prime Hunters,it's just fun to play it with friends.
played to times trough story mode

tetris ds
space invaders extreme
rythm heaven
this games are great, the concept only consists' of fun, don't include complex stories, you can jump in, every time and just begin to play, always willing to beat your own records

Maybe a little dungeon crawling or something, if they'd release Warcraft or Diablo onto the DS like they should.... I dunno.... Depends on my mood and level of boredom.

i'm guessing you already know about this, but if you don't:
Etrian Odyssey I/II and The Dark Spire are all great first-person dungeon crawlers.
I've also heard that The Dark Spire is a lot like Wizardry, but you might want to start with EO.

I'm addicted to Phantasy Star Zero right now, just finished the eternal tower on normal. I used to be addicted to phoenix wright games though, like many others in this topic.

The Phoenix Wright Series and Professor Layton

Eh, never did like the Puyo games... All you do is clear little balls. That type of gameplay really isn't for me. It's too simple....

Games I was/am addicted to:

Peggle Dual Shot - pretty much played it until 100% completion night and day

Big Bang Mini - I love this game oh so much I want to kiss it with tongues.

Henry Hatsworth - Up until the very last boss I seriously was putting hours a day into this game.

Antelier Annie Alchemist - I love the crafting/alchemy system and the characters were fun. The game was a bit on the short side, though. Still, I actually played through it twice for different endings which is something I've never done before.

All Cooking Mama Games - I tend to play them until I perfect all recipes then move on. I didn't care for Gardening Mama, though. Sushi Academy was the same way, as that's pretty much just Cooking Mama with a Japanese coat of paint.

Any Time Management Game - I don't know why but I love a good time management game. I actually played Burger Island and Fast Food Panic until I beat them. Diner Dash and Hysteria Hospital are always at hand for me to play until I beat those, too.

And now the weirdest game I was addicted to ever: Puzzle Kingdoms. I realize it was just a low production value piece of semi-shovelware made from the remnants of Puzzle Quest, but I loved the puzzle system and had fun playing it until I beat the game. I enjoyed it way more than Galactrix or Gyromancer on the DS. Hopefully Puzzle Chronicles from Konami leans more in this direction than Gyro.

Well, it seems to me you haven't played any relatively good players. But then again, it's kinda difficult finding players of that level anywhere besides Japan or Korea since puyo has like, the hugest learning curve ever despite its simplicity lol.

I can't see how anyone would like Harvest Moon games on the DS. Even my sister, who loves Harvest Moon, thinks that the DS ones are stupid and not worth playing, due to idiotic storylines and botched controls. We both once contemplated getting a DS HM game and naming the player character something dirty, the dog/cat something dirty, and the farm name is an expletive. And then we make everyone hate the character.

I addicted on HM Sunshine Island too..
Do you play it?Or you just play for HM DS or HM DS Cute?

All the HM version in DS is terrible except Sunshine Island..
But maybe your family got different taste?
ahaha LOL

Ninja Gaiden Dragon Sword. That never get old. I'm currently playing Ninja Gaiden 2 on my 360. Just beated Ninja Gaiden Black and Dragon Sword with all difficulty levels.

My Real Big Addictions are:
Super Robot Wars W + K
Disgaea DS (So Addicted that i planned a psp next year)
Harvest Moon Sunshine Islands

lower addictions are:
The World Ends with You
Phantasy Star 0
Animal Crossing WW
Yu-Gi-Oh 2009 (Can't Wait for 2010)
