What are the GOOD RPG's where the combat is similar to Zelda where when you fight you don't go into a seperate menu and choose your moves such as fight, run, defend etc.

We are talking strictly Nintendo DS Titles.

Secret of Mana is a good starting point, there are tons of diffrent action RPGs so its hard to get more specific. What system/consoles are we talking about here?

Off the top of my head:

Lufia: Curse of the Sinistrals
Blue Dragon: Awakened Shadow
Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days
Kingdom Hearts Re:Coded (not out in English yet, will be soon)
Fighting Fantasy: The Warlock of Firetop Mountain
Phantasy Star Zero
Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles (there's two of these IIRC)
Custom Robo Arena
Castlevania (there's 3)
Tales of Innocence (full English translation available)
Dragon Ball Origins (and DBO 2)
Rune Factory (3 of them)
Soma Bringer

That list has several different gameplay types included, but they're all RPGs (to at least some extent) and lack any kind of turn based fighting system. ToI has random battles, but they're real time. Hope this helps.

Yeah, I'd agree, both the Dragon Ball Origins games are very similar to the DS Zeldas. The focus is more on the fanfare, rather than interesting puzzles, but they're fun games worth checking out.
