Well, it'd because no official codes are out yet (correct me if I'm wrong). You'll have to edit the cheat database with a program and input the codes manually.

@XPro: There are codes available at codejunkies, I used r4cce to put them in there.
@Rydian: My rom is unpatched and untrimmed, so I'm 99% sure that's not what's causing this. I checked the Game ID of Pokemon Black 2, and it matches the codes Game ID as well.
Any other ideas?

See if the standard database (which has B/W2 codes already in) works.
