Hacking Acekard 2i not accepting update on 1.4.2U DSIXL

Hi, I'm planning on updating my DSIXL to 1.4.3, but I know I need to update my Acekard first. I downloaded the ak2ifw_update_3ds21_DSi143_onDSi_NO44.nds file and tried to run it, but as soon as I run it, I get an "Update is canceled, reboot DS." message. I know this update doesn't work on HW44 cards as of today, but my card is HW8181 (Chip ID is 0fc2, if it matters), so I'm at a loss. I've done updates like this a bunch of times before but I can't seem to get this one to work. Any ideas?

Try updating it with the acekard official firmware on your sdcard and not akaio see if that helps.

Just, updated using the official Acekard, firmware, and it seemed to work! My game ID is showing up as some odd japanese characters with a red icon, but it works perfectly! thanks.
