I have had my Acekard 2i since august and today I removed the MicroSD card to put a few new games on it when I tired to put it back in the MicroSD card would not lock back in.

The only way I can get the MicroSD card to stay in is to put sticky tape over it.

Is there any why I can fix it with out buying a new one as it will take forever to get a new one as its Christmas time?

There is a way to fix it, but I dont know how. If you got it from dealextreme, dont send it in for a new one on holidays. If you ordered it from gamebygame or realhotstuff, then send it back.

remove the spring

I have just spent 30 minutes doing that.

I also found out that the acekard was never designed to be opened and put back together.

(If anyone wants to do it you have to completely remove the circit board from the card.
pop the top off the card reader using a small jewellery screwdriver.
And as soon as you do it 2 springs and a bit of black plastic fly everywhere.
Put the piece of black plastic back with out the springs.
replace the top of the card reader and push the edges of the it so the top stays safely on.
Put the circuit board back in the case and melt the edges. (i heated up the small jewellery screwdriver in a flame and melted a few dots to hold it shut))

The acecard works fine just its hard to get the MicroSD out one its in but one its in its not going to come out easily.

I will buy a new one after christmas anyway.

It was from DX and its outside the 1 month warranty.
