You just used the update 141 on your "bricked" card and it worked again?

I use the update 141 which can be found here : http://www.acekard.com/download.php
then update the firmware using a DS Lite, and it made my Acekard 2i work back on a DSi.

Ok, I can confirm that using the 141 update on your DSL unbricks your acekard for your DSi.

So if you have a HW44 version and you did the 3DS update, your card became unusable in your DSi.

If you still have a DSL lying around, you're in luck.

Use the DSL version of this update. Run it on your DSL. And your card will work again on your DSi as well.
So no harm done.

So now we just have to wait for a HW44 update

HW stands for Hardware. People have reported that Acekard's with HWID 44 are bricking so if you have one with HWID 44, don't update it just yet. If you want to check the HWID, run the .nds update file and it'll display your HWID. Proceed with the update only if the HWID is displayed as 8181 or 81.

yes but cant see how it worked... i have HW: 44... from what ive read, no one with HW: 44 has got it to work...

I bricked my card and fixed it within like 5 minutes.

All I did was install the 3DS for DSi file. It did it successfully and the game icon switched to a Japanese game.

Started it up. Black screen.

I downloaded the newest AKAIO and replaced my system files on my MicroSD

and just to be sure, I changed the name of the update file.




So people! Give that a try if it goes to black screen! I don't know if it works on a 3DS yet because they aren't out in America but it's back to working on my DSi. I'm just getting prepared
