Loved them all and I'm waiting so damn patiently for AAI 2 to be finished with its translation.
The scenarios were fun to get into and shouting OBJECTION is always entertaining.

Loved them. Couldn't put them down when I was in the middle of a case.
They're terrible. Average, repetitive and the stories are an absolute nonsense.

I'm really staggered at how the games have attracted such a devoted fanbase.
Obviously, it's a game so I don't think the stories were meant to be believable..

I can accept a level of absurdity but Ace Attorney crossed the line from absurdity to just fucking stupid.

But that's just my opinion.

Objection!

Nope not a fan.

opinions are welcome, but absudity is what make games good ,what about heavy rain, shin megami tensei , gta? an absurd story or possibilities is what it is mainly makes those games good and funnier.

love them myself, like most I'm awaiting on a translation of Investigations 2

I really loved them all. And Apollo Justice was one of my favorites because it was the first one built from ground up for the DS, while previous episodes were GBA ports. Better graphics, higher quality music ( I said higher quality not better ) and nice animated movies to carry the story on. Really, a well done game. Too bad they didn't reuse the same engine to add more chapters !
To me these kind of games really elevated the DS to the best handeld console ever, if only for the diversity and originality of its software.

I've only played Miles Edgeworth Investigations and Ace Attorney 1 but I've loved them so far. Planning to finish of the rest of the series soon. The wacky characters are what makes the game so awesome in my opinion. Just wondering, has a translation of Investigations 2 actually been confirmed?

I'm one of the small group of gamers that still like adventure games. The Ace Attorney series carries the genre pretty well. I hope they bring more of them outside of Japan. I've played them all so far and cant wait for the AAI2 translation to finish.
The only downside to adventure games are they're pretty much only good for 1 playthrough. I keep old ones around though so I can come back to them even years later for nostalgic purposes.

The games of Ace Attorney captured my heart. The storyline was great, I loved how it all meshed together and I also loved how well the characters were constructed. It made me want to become a lawyer... til I realized I was too stupid.

Actually, it has been confirmed that it will not be translated onto the DS. However, recently CapCom stated that they are still considering translating it but by no means have they confirmed it.

I'm hoping for a full translation and port onto the 3DS
