I'm on the fence.
But those are just the same graphics with some kind of HQ filter.
I'm talking about re-do them from scratch.
Like it always puzzeld me how they managed to port the GBA games to the DS without upscaling, filtering or stretching the original graphics.
If you pay attention, the backgrounds in the DS version don't even have any border around them, you can just see a litte bit more of the image.
Which brings me to the conclusion, that the original artwork ( done on paper or on PC ) must have been used and resampled to fit the DS slightly higher resolution.
I wish I had some pictures to prove my point.
So , if you start from that, and target an even higher res display, the image should look just as good as it did on the smaller screen but probably better.
If they plan to redraw everything, that's a different story altogether though.
