Problem is I was told that the M3 Simply wont play any new games, is this true ?

Told I should buy a R4 or M3 Real etc...

I was hoping the the M3 Simply could have its firmware updated to be compatible, can you ?
Is there and where can I find updated firmware for the Simply ?

Thanks
John

i dont know much about m3 simply but if i were you i would buy a m3 real (perfect bundle) because its much better and it comes with gba, ram, rumble expansion packs and it support sdhc cards (more than 2 GB) which m3 simply doesnt.

btw dont buy r4ds because new games cant be played and no more updates.

get m3 real you won't regret it
i have it and never had any problems with it

The M3 Simply is a re-branded R4 so they are basically the same card. The R4 is dead and not being updated anymore. Its not even being made anymore and chances are, if you do buy one, its a clone that has a high chance of failure or cause damage to your DS. So stay away from anything with R4 in the name.

Yeah, M3 Simply is just an R4. Since the R4 is dead the Simply is dead with it. Your better off selling it for like $5 - $10 and getting a cheap card off of Dealextreme or something.
He has it right on the dot. Here are some links to some good, cheap flashcarts.

Acekard2: http://www.dealextreme.com/details.dx/sku.16142
Acekard2i (same as Acekard2, but works with DSi): http://www.dealextreme.com/details.dx/sku.18728
EDGE: http://www.dealextreme.com/details.dx/sku.10919

All of those flashcarts are still being updated and work with all new games. You can't go wrong with whichever you choose.
