I really like the idea of the EZV 3in1 ... But the GBA feature (only important one for me) seems really slow and goofy. I don't get why the EZ team didn't allow it to have more then one ROM on NOR and easy loading to PSRAM. Seems like it would have been easy for them to make it work exactly like an EZ4 just using the slot1 SD card instead of its own. Looking around a bit and the only way i see to take better advantage of it is with unofficial tools.

So i was just wondering before i a buy anything if there is any word of other companys planing on making something similar.

GBAlpha supposedly has an expension pack in the works for the G6 & M3 Real, but no solid details or release date have been given. I also doubt that it will work with other flashcarts. The EZ-Flash 3-in-1 works with non-EZ carts because they released source code to allow homebrew developers to use the cart. AFAIK, GBAlpha have never released any source code at all.

Err. What are you trying to say? GBalpha has tons of slot 2 cards.

I understand now. It sounded a bit funny though

EDIT: Well they never did put a release date on it, so I wouldn't be expecting it anyway. Danny just said it was something on their minds and going to R&D

I disagree, the PSRam loading is very fast and convenient (I'm using Rudolph's tool). My only other experiences with GBA-playing flashcards were the Supercard and the EZFA, and the 3in1 is better and easier to get working then both of them. Plus, it has rumble and ram for the browser! :]

Rudolph's tool looks decent yea .. It's just weird that you have to use it to get it to (kinda sorta) work the way it should have in the first place (IMO) ... I mean why include PSRAM if your not going to use it.

Seems like i'm complaining lol but i'm just trying to decide between the 3in1 and the more expensive EZIV Lite Deluxe
