Are we going to have to get a new Wiimote protector jacket when using this thing? Or will we be able to just attach it to the bottom of the wiimote without having to take off the protector?

I never even got one. And I play strapless. My security measures consist of making sure that in games with violent whipping, a proper grip on the wii remote is managed, with the thumb at the face buttons and the index finger over the B trigger.
