All we knows,The USB Type-C interface used by the Switch,The daily usage cycle of the Switch is in two extremes: full speed or full sleep.

Its AC adapter rated power: 5v@1.5a,15v @ 2.6a. 15v @ 2.6a This is a very exaggerated data, even more powerful than the Apple 12-inch Macbook 29-watt power adapter (which also explains why the Switch will charge the Macbook). Next, on the Switch base, we can find the USB Type-C plug output power, the data is 15v @ 1.2A, or 18W. The difference between the two is due to the base there are three USB Type-A interface, so the power adapter needs to do more than the Switch itself, in order to ensure adequate capacity to support other hardware.

After we test when connect the ordinary 5V output power bank, charge current limit in the 2A, so dissatisfied with the state of charge power is less than 10W. Like running the "Zelda legend: the wilderness of interest" such a heavy load of the game, the connection 5V charging Po power is slow down. If it is to support USB PD 2.0, support 15V output of the mobile power and charger, it should be able to support edge play side play.

Switch can use the charge to stabilize the output of 5v @ 2a Po, but Switch from this type of charging Po power is lower, there is no way to support the edge of the play side play. Sleep with ordinary 5V2A output charge charge, half an hour can be charged into about 15% of the electricity.

If your original charger is damaged, be sure to pay attention when you are looking for an alternative charger.the out puts must be 5V@1.5A,15v@2.6A.or it may cause damage to your switch.

    hope it can help.

I got a 6ft USB-C cable for charging and everything is fine. It even has fast charge support and charges my switch in about 2.5 hours.

yes,The USB-C cable can be used to charge SWITCH, but can not support TV mode.

The voltage under TV MODE is 15V@2.6A.
