Hacking A supposed R4 cart that can download ROMS.

... has anybody else heard about this, or is it a misunderstanding?

There's the whole "DS wifi speed sucks", but that's when using the default library, with a modified library you can download much faster... thing is, why would some team that knows enough to use a custom wifi library for downloading stick with an R4 name?

Maybe for the brand recognition (if this is real). A lot of people who don't know much about flashcarts end up Googling 'R4' to get their first. That's what I did actually, but luckily mine was a 1:1 clone. If you think about it, using the R4 name might help them get business, but then again, at the same time it could drive away people that are sick of all the R4 clones.

That's my line of thinking, branding yourself as an R4 when you have a feature no other cart has is condemning yourself.

At first my guess was a misunderstanding (it's always "my friend has this, no I haven't seen it but he's my friend"), but they mentioned downloading homebrew as well, which shows at least a little bit of scene knowledge.

"The r4isdhc 1.4 with the new firmware have a function than automatically update the firmware, and you can search the nds games and download them all from the dsi.
This function is very confortable.

Real, but it downloads by connecting to a host PC running some softwares. The PC downloads and then sends it over wi-fi as I understand it.
