So I'm wondering: If someone happened to brick their N3DS by downgrading with an O3DS pack, then they hardmodded it and dumped the O3DS NAND, would it be possible to download the proper N3DS pack and inject the info given in the O3DS NAND onto the N3DS one?

Also: What if they didn't have the xorpads?

I believe you need a Nand Backup from your N3ds firmware, o3ds nands won't work on your n3ds.
Sorry, I don't think my message was clear: I'm asking "is it possible for someone to take the information from the O3DS NAND installed on the N3DS to create a fixed version of the N3DS NAND, then flash it back?"

This is all assuming said person has their N3DS hardmodded, with no prior NAND backup nor xorpads.

Actually, I'm wondering something else too: What if they flashed someone else's N3DS NAND to their N3DS? Would that let them into recovery menu?

No, because every 3DS' NAND is unique to that console, so you can't use someone else's dump.
