No, there's not going to be a new update today. DStwo supports the latest update so you have nothing to worry about, just remember to update your cart before you update your 3DS.

This is why you don't sell your old DS when a new unit comes out. I'm currently using a 3ds XL but I still have my Original DS, DS Lite, and DSi XL, as well as my original 3DS. I can still update my DSTwo even if my 3DS gets updated.

Today is/was maintenance. There is no new update.

hes not certain but

because all the servers go down tonight in a few hours due to there upgrading everything

there doing the game servers currently

later there doing the e-shop

games servers is just more than likely to improve connections by beefing up the servers to handle load from growth of games (like every game host does)
the e-shop one is always a clencher because you don't know if they are just doing the same or if they are prepping for an update

there is one due any time now also to add new puzzles to the 3DS and more than likely some improvements and block some dodgy stuff at the same time

only time will tell

updates normally go live in about 4 hours if there is any

I would check it but i can't cause i am downloading something at max speed and can't use wireless atm.

Because I don't have a flashcart anymore, I went ahead and tried to update. It hanged for a while, and then it said an error occurred and restarted the console. Did it again on a different connection, same error.

Not sure if because of eShop maintenance or...

Yeah that happened to me too.
I thought i couldn't update it cause i download the thing that i said above at max speeed.
It seems i am not the only one then.

Update JUST came out.
Wonder if any features were added. Probably not though :|
