So, can anyone help me with a situation I'm in? I REALLY want to play multiplayer mode, but its not fun when your roomate uses Xigbar and shoots you in the face because Tetsuya Nomura is a Sadist and decided to flip the "Friendly Fire= Default" switch before launch....So what Im asking is, does anyone know how to disable friendly fire? =D

Well technically, I need a translation and I saw in a previous post a picture with the first menu translated. I just thought i would ask if there's a picture like that for options, or if anyone knows to post it =D

Well, all I've managed to do is disassemble the ROM and find font files in a text folder. I've used several tools but I can't get anything. However, I did get the fonts. We could edit fonts, but that would get us nowhere.

I didn't do a whole lot of fishing just yet - but most of the game's text [as skyline said] is stored in the UI directory. After that in each folder there's /str/ja and they contain .s.z files (which contain text)

The only problem is that they're compressed. It's probably the typical LZ compression but I have no idea.

Skyline: Editing a font would be nice - it'll save hackers a ton of work.



Also that contains the game fonts, not the game's dialogue >_<

It might be a start, but it's nothing significant. DSLazy to unpack the ROM, go to the text folder. There's my progress - something anyone could have done in 3 minutes.

I'm tapped out. Someone else give it a shot for a while.
