Hi! I was wondering if it was possible to get my pokemon Y save back onto my 3ds.

~ Some Background ~
*EmuNAND Install and Downgrade*
Firstly, I backed up the contents that were on my sd card originally (hoping to preserve my save)
Then, I installed the gateway exploit through the browser and set up 9.4 emuNand
Finally, I downgraded my SysNand firmware to 4.2.0 and that's currently where i am now.
I have just downloaded pokemon Y from the eshop again and now all i need to know is if it's possible to recover my save from my backed up sd card, or if it isn't possible.

Thanks for your time!

Nope, you should have decrypted your save with savedatafiler before downgrading. Try to restore your nand and do it.

He can, but 6.X encrypted savegame can't be read by a 4.X console.

Okay, so I should upgrade my sysNand back to 9.2, and then decrypt my save on emuNand (after copying my data from the sd card backup)?
Also, I doubt this makes any difference, but my sysNand and emuNand are seperate

It took me a little while, but I did exactly that and got all my 719 pokemon back! thanks so much! :)

I am trying to get my retail cart Smash Bros and Zelda Link Between Worlds save data to work on a downgraded system. I have already gone back to my 9.2 sysNAND backup and installed savedatafiler. How do I get this data from the retail carts and decrypt it?

Your advice would be super helpful.

Your save file didn't even work in classic mode?

It worked for him only beacause it was an eshop game, it won't work with 6.X encrypted save from cartdriges. (savedatafiler doesn't work on classic mode, but for the non 6.X games you can use the cfw on 4.X)

What if I have retail cart instead, all other conditions remain the same. Then classic mode should be enough, right?

Like I said, you can't run savedatafiler on classic mode, only on gateway mode, and retail cartdriges don't work in gw mode.

Retails cartdriges and cias work simultaneously on the cfw, so you can install it on an other sd card and use it to backup your retail cartdriges saves (only the non 6.X encrypted one though)

If he's decrypting the save on emunand what's the point of putting sysnand back to 9.2?
I have the exact same questions. This doesn't even make any sense.

I don't think I actually had to do that, I was just following what he said. But I found that you don't even need savedatafiler for eshop games. You should just be able to copy the save on the SD card. What i did was take my SD out of my 3DS; and on it i went to
//: Nintendo 3ds/ID1(emunand ID)/ID2/title/0004000e/00055e00 (the id for pokemon) and duplicated this file and put it in //: Nintendo 3ds/ID1(sysnand ID)/ID2/title (had to create this folder)/0004000e (had to create this folder)/00055e00 (had to create this folder)

So basically, I copied that folder to the SysNand partition, and then I did it again with the other part of the pokemon content

Then //: Nintendo 3ds/ID1(emunand ID)/ID2/title/00040000/00055e00/data and //: Nintendo 3ds/ID1(emunand ID)/ID2/title/00040000/00055e00/content - Copied both of those to the sysnand as well. Finally, i replaced both of the 00000001.sav with one that was in my sd card backup (i feel like this is the most important part, and maybe the only needed part)

If this is completely impossible to follow i can make it better.
