Can't you just open up the .xml file and delete the code portion of the updates that you don't want, which will force the patch to play your version?
Just delete the highlight text, for example I delete 1.14 for 1.15:

In regards to the masks, that pretty much means that you weren't able to play Lies of P at 60fps.
Darn. How did you find out itemzflow doesn't support masks formats?

Do you see these files? Those are xml files. They are text files with written codes that makes the 60fps patches work.

Now lets open up the .xml for Sonic Frontier. Do you see the parts I've marked in red? That's how you know it's a "mask" format. And therefore, won't work because it currently doesn't support it.

You might need to readjust the patch and delete some of the codes you don't need since I see codes for base PS4, PS4 Pro, resolutions settings, etc.

Thanks for your help
I’ve tinkered some yesterday and I found some old posts by illusion about specific games like Final Fantasy VII Remake and I made a manual patch for the game where I used all optional patches for graphics, unlocked 60 fps, increases memory, and disabled dynamic resolution and locked it to 2160P and the game now looks better than FF7 Remake Intergrade even.
I had to extract certain pak files that are used for unreal engine games and edit the .ini files and then pack them again.
Hogwarts legacy and lies of P are unreal games as well so I will do similar patches for those games now. Other problematic games I manually edited the eboot files and hardcoded them for 60fps that way already. I also noticed that once you enable patches/trainers in itemflowz you do not need to boot into it every time as you can boot them from XMB and you will see that it says patch applied so it remembers that at least. But I prefer are more permanent way now lol.
