PRO-B5 Ready 2 Rumble
Dear Users.

As some of you F5-Button-Mashers probably already noticed. B5 is out and now available for download.

This release fixes a bunch of problems you guys have been reporting that we deemed critical enough. Some of you guys will probably find problems still existing… this is mostly because we are having problems reproducing some of the bug reports.

Should you guys encounter more problems which we can’t reproduce, please, instead of just reporting a problem, try to get into contact with me via Jabber so we can test things out together and hopefully fix more problems as we go along.

The contact data can be found in several earlier posts of mine on this blog.

Now to the interesting part… the changelog.

•[!]Fixed freeze on Patapon with Inferno
•[!]Fixed version.txt with Windows LRCF
•[!]Fixed USB charge
•[!]Fixed crash in recovery menu (Plugin Picker)
•[!]Fixed compression support with updater
•[!]Fixed syscall execution, thanks to neur0n
•[!]Fixed plugin load code, now ms0 and ef0 go independently
•[!]Fixed crash on system version display
•[!]Altered default CFW settings for noobs (PSP Go Savestate Hack)
•[+]Added UMD4Homebrew Patch, thanks to ardi
•[+]Added DJMAX3 Anti-CFW Patch (CFW Folder Hide)
•[+]PSN PSX Games can now use custom manual files

am i the only one experiencing the RESUME GAME not being deleted even if i wanted to delete it? maybe Coldbird didnt think it was critical.
(for PSP Go)
That's probably because 'Prevent Hibernation Deletion (PSP-GO only)' option is enabled in the Recovery Menu/Configuration

Also for those who have some problems with PRO B-5, hrimfaxi fixed a few bugs

Just 6.20 IIRC.

6.35 can't do it. Though if you're on 6.35, you can downgrade.

I turned that shit off and it still does it.

I just tested it out on my psp go on PRO B-5 (fix), and it works fine
Did you reset VSH after disabling that option? cause i think you are supposed to in order to take effect, thats what i did anyway

also for those who missed the fix
PRO-B5 21st April Fix

Dear Users.

As many of you have experienced, PRO-B5 contained two critical bugs we noticed just a minute too late.

One of them made it impossible to use the 6.35 version at all due to a “Blackscreen” bug caused by a bad mesgled patch.

And PSX game support was flawed for quite a few users…

However thanks to Tikiko from wololo.net/talk who kindly offered 2 hours of his time for some critical bughunting, we were able to fix both bugs in a timely manner.

I kindly ask you all to fetch the now fixed version of PRO-B5 from http://pro.coldbird.eu and reinstall it.

Should bugs remain, please contact me via Jabber as always.

Greetings, Coldbird.[/p]
