FYI I have a wife and two kids.
But back to our issue, it was their choice to come into their spotlight, everybody loves the spotlight.
They could have stayed in their basement doing their thing and stayed in their IRC channel with other developers.
They are at fault stop defending them in hope they might change their mind and release anything. Its over move on.

I never said that you are a kid, there are enough males aged 34 that are still single. especially if they are nerds like us.
But don't you have more important things to do like talking to your wife or playing outside with your kids than spending your time in front of the pc and complaining about the same things over and over again?

I for myself do most of the writing now during working hours. I have a homeoffice job with lots of business tavels. but when I'm back home I have better things to do with my family than reading all the whining here...

Can we please be done with this now man?

Answering everything with "lets move on" and needing to prove yourself by telling us about your life (which PEEKED my interest...) is not the same level of expressing your opinion that what i do is. I dont wanna sound in love with myself but do me a favor and dont compare that. Makes me feel like talking with "differently aged" walls, here... And i really dont like talking to inanimate objects

I donated also,but I don't regret a single cent.
What he delivered to us with GX2 and DDD including his sourcecodes and knowledge is something that money can't buy

I agree that his privacy/personal life must be respected, but I think at least people who donated should have an explanation.

It's not like he OWNS an explanation (anyone who donate should be well aware of the risks), but it would be respectful as well.

People sure are being moderate with wishes regarding mods, xD protip, deactivate BGM in Sm4sh and tune up your AMP, same effect. Im talking custom stages, fighters and maybe some badass modded modes like turbo mode or allstarversus in P:M

The point of donating was to simply show our appreciation, talk is cheap as they say. Far better than the whiny kids on here, there are scant few (good proven) devs left, and it seems we just lost another one. I wish him the best for the future, but cant help but feel we lost someone very good

He owes me nothing, i'm just worried about future bug fixes now that someone who knows the project so well is no longer part of it.

Hykem is gone, there is no exploit and by what it looks like there won't be any in the near future. Just update your WiiU and buy the three games worth playing, done.

Sure they have more games, but the majority of them are all multiplatform titles, which I have zero interest in since I can play them on PC. Imo there is no reason to own a console outside of it's own console exclusives.

Neither the XB1 or PS4 need that many exclusives as games are being developed for those platforms. The fact nobody is interested to develop for the WIIU is the reason we have so many exclusives. From your list only 4 interest me..

It depends on the age of the player.
In our household we have XB1, PS4 and the WiiU plus all the previous consoles before.
The only 2 games on the the Wii U that are interesting for me are Mario Kart 8 and Mario Party because those we play as family. All the other interesting stuff for old fags like me with almost 40 years I only get on XB1 and PS4. Stuff like Halo, Mass Effect or Uncharted, Forza Motosport, Gran Turismo.

I don't really care about kids games for myself.

So yeah, for me it's even just 2 games worth that I bought, the other games have been bought by the kids with their pocket money.

So again. Nintendo has a different target-customer than MS or SONY.

I was looking for a cheap Wii U based on reading some guides on here saying there was a 5.5 exploit supposedly being in the works. So there likely won't be one for anything above 5.3.2? Maybe I'll pass because it seems Wii U's are hard to find used for cheap. I can't believe how expensive they still are.

I can't believe how expensive the games continue to be, long after they are released, and it has a lot to do with the fact that they hardly have any games and are mostly made by Nintendo, so Nintendo has to make money somehow.
