Clear all your browser save data and try again. That seems to make a huge difference.
You can load up several different vwii homebrew apps that will show you your wii ip. I always just go into FTPii
It should go without saying that almost every link points to new locations. You MUST delete your browser save file and replace everything with the the data in folders A and B before trying like @Major Havoc did.

Here is an all in one self contained self hosting solution. There are two zips. One for updating if you have already installed and one containing the xampp server install for getting started.

It's not perfect but it works. You can easily update any of the packages yourself once you get everything working.

To update: download version without xampp. Replace and merge everything from folder A to your server. Then replace and merge everything in folder B to your sd card. Sorry I should make a better update package.

1. Install XAMPP to a local PC on the same local network that the Wii U is on
(xampp installer included)
2. Browse to c:\xampp\htdocs\
3. Create a folder called Wiibrew
4. Copy everything INSIDE of folder "A" into the folder: c:\xampp\htdocs\Wiibrew

5. Copy everyting INSIDE of folder "B" to the root of your SD card overwriting files when prompted.
SD card should look like:

6. Put SD card back in WiiU
7. Turn on Apache in XAMPP
8. Test website on local PC by opening a browser (Chrome or another) and go to:
locahost/Wiibrew
9. If you cannot see the webpage on your local PC then you may have a port issue with XAMPP. Post
in gbatemp thread with issues. You must have the xampp page working before you can test on Wii U.
10. Learn your local PC's IP address and use that in the next step.
11. Open your Wii U and open the browser. Click on settings in the upper right corner. Click "Reset Save Data". Now browse the webpage:

For example, on my Wii U I type this into the address:
http://192.168.11.169/wiibrew
12. You can launch Homebrewbrew launcher or Loadiine. You should only need to click once.
13. If you want to launch any of the other Homebrew then you will need to run the #1 or #2 kexploit first (each app tells you which one to load first).
14. Tap the browser button and go back to your page and then launch any of the apps listed below the kexploits.
*note* If you change the port number in xampp to make it work then you need to include that in the URL
example:
Changed port to "12345". The address I use in Wii U browser is:

Troubleshooting:
- Make sure to "Reset Save Data" in your Wii U browser settings before trying any of this.
- If you are getting "SD Mount Failed" or any error message about SD card then follow these steps:
a. First make sure that you have formatted your SD to FAT32 using the tool in the instructions
b. Make sure that you are not using a cheap knock off SD card. Many of those don't work.
c. Make sure that you have copied all files inside of folder B to the root of your SD. It should look like this: SD:\wiiu\...
d. I know that sounds like old school NES tactics but it has worked for some. Take out your SD card or SD card adapter. Remove microSD and re-insert into adapter if you're using microSD. Blow on the contacts of the SD card or adapter. Blow in the Wii U SD slot. Try again.
Tried it, still getting a white loading page, doesn't freeze (i can still hear the music). What's the next step after I choose option 1? Read from the sd card? Just trying to debug the error here.
That's most likely an SD card problem
If you're not using my xampp instructions and you're using a different hosting method you MUST have php installed or you'll get this error. I'm not using MP4s anymore. If you want to host with the mp4s then convert the bin files to mp4. Php has much higher success rate than mp4.
Clear your browser save file. I can't say this enough I get 100% boot rate after doing that. Before? lots of freezing.
Does it say the same thing when you fire up HBL first? Try just running the first link at the top of the page on a cold boot.
