Spoiler it. :P

Also, try to reset your browser.

How do you reset browser exactly?

It crashes, I 4 second hard reset pad and console, restart console via pad, open browser, delete cookies try links fromself hosted html > rinse and repeat.

I assumed the hard reset would be doing this for me as nothing seems to be running when it turns on again.

I believe it would be less confusing if we made 5.4.0 progress and 5.5.0 progress in separate threads. Onion_knight not having a Wii U on 5.4.0 needs any tester he could get to make Loadiine V3 work on 5.4.0, so it's better to keep this thread not confusing IMHO.

@Theopt, here's your evidence!

thx for the video. but you didn't get my point. I KNOW that you can get userland access : )

I'll just quickly recap my prespective:

99% of the users that are atm exploring this forum have no ideia what userland (Or user_space) exploit means, all they read is that they can 'crack' their wii U now.
As soon as they get that pong working they will come back and ask "now what?" "where are my loaders, backup managers etc etc".

I'm as someone stated a few posts back, better let everyone understand (like its written in the first post of this thread) that 5.5.0 allows you to play pong and nothing else than explaining everyone 100 times how they can get their exploit working and then wait another 2 weeks to actually do something with it.

End of this discussion for me! : )

dude, I didn't mean kernel!
Yes we understand, but guys here are doing extensive testing to make Loadiine work, every info/progress we get is important. having 5.5.0 related posts make things confusing. I hope the OP changes the title and that way we can have two separate threads, one for 5.4.0 progress and one for 5.5.0 that way it would be easier for you guys on 5.5.0 to have appropriate links too.

I agree!

We do not have a stable kernel exploit , how we are going to load a loadiine last version ?. Knowing that there is no stable kernel exploit

No it's not the end of discussion. You just want to wind me up. I'm already upset enough about other things. : )

I'll just quickly recap my perspective:

Pong isn't the only thing we can run. We can run our own custom-built code to run in the browser. I showed you a video for fuck sake.

And yes, I know the difference between kernel and userland. You don't know me enough to realise if I know the differences or not. Stop thinking you're the smartest.

I think he question that needs to be answered is what library's are allowed to be loaded and run from userspace. That will determine the scope and depth of the type of homebrew from it. Its not all about kernel access I agree.

coreinit.rpl, vpad.rpl, and a couple of other non-kernel libraries. :)

Guys I'm sorry for being off for a day. In am hour I'll be home again. I'm gonna rework the OP. Can someone tell me if I need to add / change something?
