Hacking 4GB Micro SD Card for an R4?

Can someone recommend a brand or a place to buy a 4GB Micro SD card for an R4 for my DS? I bought one at Best Buy a week or so ago, and discovered that the R4 won't read SDHC cards. So I'm looking for a good place to get a 4GB non-HC Micro SD card, preferably on the cheap.

I believe that normal microSD goes up to 2gb not more.

There are 4GB micro SDs but they are very rare and problematic.

I could be mistaken, but I'm pretty sure you can't get a regular microsd greater then 2 gigs. It's sdhc only for 4 and 8 gig cards.

Really? That's a shame. I was under the impression that there were people out there using 4GB cards in their R4s.

Wrong, there ARE non-SDHC microSD cards, but they are highly unstable, and unrecommendable to use..

You can get it, but don't.....their speed is bad, and they heat up too much, and they are prone to malefunctioning..
And they are very hard to find!!

The reason why they made SDHC. 4gb microsd are not recommended.

Yes and since theyre so rare, they cost alot...like atleast $40, with that money u could just go to dx, buy a ttds and 4gb kingston for the same price

Thanks, all. This has got me finally seriously thinking about updating my card. Thinking about going over to a CycloDS. Now I just have to get it around my Wife.

If money is a problem you could... Sell the R4? Take advantage of the name

i.e. overcharge it for $90 or something.
