Hacking 4.0U wii bricked no preloader, no starfall, no mod chip HELP!!

ok here it is,
i have a 4.0 wii, homebrew installed,
i dont have a preloader, nana dumper, starfall, or anything like that.
i dont have my wii chipped with the mod chip.
basicly this is what happened,
the other day i was installing new wii menu themes, 2 or three of them worked and everything was fine, but after i installed one and went back to the menu, it was just black. so i restarted my wii, and it was just black.
no sound,
i did the thing were u plug in the GC controlor into the 4th port and hold down all the d-pad buttions,
all that happenes is 4.0(USA) is displayed at the bottom of the screen,
u can hear the disk spinning inside but nothing happens,
plz help.
i have no idea what to do.

Two ways to fix this either one install a Mod-Chip and wait for the Brawl hack so you can autoboot Brawl from the Savemiifrii Recovery menu which is the Black Screen with 4.0 in the bottom right hand corner. You just need to use the program bootme on the Iso and set it to autoboot

Or wait for a game to come out that has a update higher than 4.0 on it So you can update your Wii through the savemiifrii recovery menu. Which would fix your Wii, Though you may be waiting avery long time for a update higher than 4.0 to be released on a Game.

Also to play Wii Games until you find away to fix your Wii just install a Mod-Chip than use the program bootme, to set your downloaded game to autoboot. Then autoboot it through the recovery menu, and make sure to use the program bootme

Question:

Why install themes without preloader being intsalled?
