Note: This patch updating is little different as before, please see the instructions in the "readme.doc" step by step carefully! the key point: doing the patch updating for your card first, then cut off the signal line(on the PCB) by a knife as required on the picture...(Don't cut the line before the patch updating done!!!)

I just tried installing it on my r4i Gold 3ds and I keep getting a card check fail. Does that mean that my card isn't officially from r4ids.cn?

EDIT: Just opened my cart up and found that it is in fact Rev. C, which according to http://pongupdates.wordpress.com/flashcards-working-on-3ds/, is supported. Hmm..

There's multiple "C" models. Which ones can take which update varies.

Which one you need to run depends on the device you are using to run it:
R4iGold_3DS60_Patch_NDSi_3DS.nds = DS, DSi, DSi XL, 3DS
R4iGold_3DS60_Patch_NDSL.nds = DS lite

I actually tried it on my 3ds using the ndsi-3ds one and on my dsl with the dsl one.

Thanks for the help tho guys, I guess I'll wait for my card to be supported or just go DSTWO

When it says that you failed take your cart out and put it back in while still on the fail screen and try again, worked for me.

Found in this video.
Then after its updated make the cut and it should all work.

R4iGold_3DS60_Patch_NDSL.nds = Bricked Flashcart booting the update of a different flashcard (card switch enabled)
