Hardware 3DS XL Top LCD Ribbon Cable Clamp, Changing Motherboard and SD Card Contents

Hello,

I recently removed the top part of the digitizer of my 3DS XL while removing the screen protector, so I bought a new one and put it in its place. While replacing the digitizer, I accidentally broke the ribbon cable holder for the top screen, which caused it not to work anymore. Is there any solution to the above problem without having to replace the motherboard?

If I have to choice but to replace the motherboard, how can I move the theme and games that I bought from my current device to the new one? I tried putting my SD card in my sister's 3DS XL and the games and theme didn't show.
