hmm... whenever i convert side by side it makes a wrong 3D Effect... Example instead of [ ] the video is showing me ] [
any solution for this?

Am I the only one that thinks this isn't remotely related to homebrew or hacking?

what? just 10 minutes? :O why the heck is that? :(
Because the functionality isn't there for converting videos and watching them, it's there for recording videos with the 3DS and playing them back. Someone just figured out how to convert videos into the right format and "trick" the 3DS into playing them back. The 10 minute limit is a limit on recording video, but because it's there for recording, it's also there for playback.

Indeed, I guess this section is needed far more for all those 3DS hacks and all that 3DS homebrew. Oh wait.

Doesn't matter how dead it is, thats no the point, I was making the point that this isn't really related to homebrew or hacking, basic converting software is nothing to do with this section is all im pointing out.

I know what you were saying, I was just trying to highlight the fact that if you limit this section purely to hacking and homebrew, it should not exist as there is no such thing as 3DS homebrew yet. Plus all other threads about video conversion were here when this one was made IIRC, and so that's why it was put here. There's no other section it belongs in.

Eh, I do see your point, Nevermind this seems like the appropriate section.

A frame packing blu ray rip may not work with this program.

I'm having issues with the sound being out of sync, it seems the sound is playing at the correct speed, but the video lags behind it... or vice versa. (Example: the audio track ends before the video does) Any suggestions? Using 1.32.

Stupid question please. I have converted the 3D movie, and using this tool (THANKS!) and landed up with 10 off files, named HNI_0010, HNI_0011, HNI_0012 etc (they all play fine!!)

The issue I am facing is the files when copied over are not in sequence, and I cannot see which file is which.

So my question is
1) Is there a way to auto playback all the 10mins segments, so its "smooth"
2) If not, how do I know which file is next, as the video segment are not in file name order, and I cannot se the file number

many thanks for any help

I would argue (being one of the first, if not the first to figure out the format used by nintendo, that because the video recorder app is not intended for playing anything other that videos recorded on the 3ds, then this does indeed count as a hack. Just like virtual console rom injection.

My output videos are way larger in size than the Original videos. How is this possible?
The output video is 400x240 and the Original is 1280x720.
Why is the 400x240 one bigger and what can I do about it?

Because the format used by Nintendo for there video app (mjpeg is I remember correctly), is terribly inefficient. The only way to get better file size is to use a much lower quality.

The 400x240 one is 703mb,
but the 1280x720 one is 228mb

Is this extra 475mb really all because of the inefficiency?
