hey guys i just used soundhax on my o3ds and it worked great but i cant get anything from the eshop because it wants me to set a nintendo id, but i cant because it tries to make me update to 11.2, any ideas on how to get around this

Afaik ctr-httpwn should work for NNID setup too...

i just tried that but when i click to setup NNID it hangs on a black screen mate

How did you try to setup the NNID? System Settings or eShop? And how do you access eShop, just launching it from home menu after running or by using HANS? If the later, launch it from home menu. Just be sure not to reboot when leaving HBL (pressing x iirc), otherwise ctr-httpwn won't work.

ive figured it out mate lol i had to run ctr-httpwn then exit with x then use the normal e-shop, i was tring it with hans first which didnt work lol but cheers for getting me sorted mate

I haven't touched my 3DS for about a year now but I want to play Pokemon Moon now. I have a legit JP Pokemon Moon cart and was wondering the best way to get it working on my 3DS whilst keeping my options open with custom firmwares in the future.

The system nand on my New 3DS (JP) is currently 8.1.0-0J, I think I downgraded in the past from 9.2 to get my gateway card to work. I also have a legit Ocarina of time (JP) cart with the gateway save loaded onto it. What is the best way now to get everything working? I wanted to follow this guide:

But it says I must have cubic ninja (JP) which is really hard to get hold of at the moment. Is there anyway forward without needing to buy anything else?

Nope, you need Cubic Ninja as you have no browser.

Did you downgrade your NFIRM and confirmed it with 3DSIdent?

11.x can't be downgraded without NFIRM downgrade. Check this thread and the holy bible of 3ds hacking for more information about it.

ok, but can i install FBI in sysnand and then install Legit cia in sysnand?

you must use waithax prior to opening fbi to install legit cias

and you start fbi through homebrew, you can't install it in sysnand if you don't have cfw

why not just use jksm to back up your save?
