possible it's trying to show red green and blue at once, (which would be white) if the red is stronger, it seems it could make it look pink.

Since yesterday it has been fading from pink to white, and now it is orange. A nand backup won't help since the LED info is stored at the MCU.

Have you tried opening CTRAging? It sets the LED to blue after it starts (only if you don't go into the menu)

But have you tried CTRAging anyways? It maybe resets the LED stuff on launching. It should be worth a try.

I"m not sure if there"s something that can chnage the info in the MCU that" software side, you may can get it off by Hardware but it will be more to do and you can brick it by that way. I think that if no the only you can do is send to Nintendo to repair, but you need to send them it unmodified and by the way the most probably is that they are going to update it, so it may be a problem to send them for you if you use CFW.

That's kinda funny. But try the battery thing, or some electric tape (black one) to hide the light?

Eh, doesn't seem like a big problem. Ity's looks pretty neat in fact. I thought this thread was going to be something like "my 3DS doesn't work it only shows a pink LED". You should be fine
