no wobble here not even with a bit of pressure. Just checked it. Never really paid attention before.

You guys are taking this too far. Mine wobbles a little but it doesnt hurt anything, not even me spinning around like a moron in public playing face raiders.

Just tested this.

Put it on the desk, similar to the video and mine didn't wobble at all.

I also tested this with my DS Lite, doesn't wobble either.

I got my brother's DS Lite, wobbles big time ha ha! I also got his 3DS and it wobbles, but not as much as the video you supplied. Maybe, half that.

Yes, it wobbles! It drives me crazy.

I've made a video.

What do you think? I will probably go back to the store tomorrow. I want a new one.

I had DS, DS Lite and DSi and they didn't have these problems. Console for €250 ($348!!!!) shouldn't wobble at all. I mean, c'mon!!

Maybe just a little, but not like that.

Just got my Nintendo 3DS yesterday! =D!!, and tested my screen. Soon as it clicks into place i can move it up and down very slightly and it does infact wobble just enough to make 3D Face Raiders un-enjoyable. =S

Good thing I didn't get a launch 3DS. I wasn't expecting any design flaws though, I'm just waiting for it to be hacked first. Will probabally need to wait a few years, but until then I've got my DS lite to keep me company

Err.. No; thankfully not this time. Very satisfied with the hardware I got.

I may have connectivity issues though, not sure

Some people seem to think that the wobble isn't anything to complain about but the problem ranges between system to system and it's not like you get a great idea about how problematic it is just by watching the video of a guy pushing it up with his finger.

When I first got mine it was a slight wobble that didn't bother me much but after a few days the wobble got progressively worse and so did the squeaking associated with the wobble. Playing Street fighter felt very awkward since it constantly felt like the top screen would move freely in a different direction than the rest of the unit. The screen is loose enough that slight movements make it bounce around and it's harder to focus on the screen.

I've had a DS fat and a DSi and I don't remember having this problem with them especially the DSi which still feels rock solid even after about 2 years of use.

Further to add to my previous post, all these portables will 'wobble' if you extend the screen back a lot. They will also wobble if you 'move' with your DS a lot. Through time, of moving the screen back and forth, they will inevitably, wobble.

If you want to reduce the wobbling if you didn't buy it like that, just open the DS screen to its first resting position and don't move the DS back and forth like a maniac.

Mine has a very slight wobble to it. This is completely unnoticable during gameplay though, as I don't swing around my 3DS like a madman.
It works great while playing Faceraiders. I have no complaints.

thanks for participating, keep em' coming, be honest please. Every 3DS should have some 'give' to it. If you think yours is too loose, please describe it or better yet share a video of it. the same for those who say they have a sturdy one.
