If we´re forced to buy a new card I´ll way for the competition, if I find out it´s the same ones who bailed without giving us what they promised.

Looks like they have Nand Saving working. Since GW is the self proclaimed innovated and everyone else are just ripping them off. Also also the chinese leaker also said that MT card was the product of GW+SC and that GW have abandoned GW for a new cart. This looks like proof.

I'm sorry... but where's this "proof?" You've shown a flashcart maker's website and a video that looks like every other one that clones have put out. Considering how long Gateway's been taking with the latest release, I wouldn't be surprised if they were screwing us over one way or another, but I don't see anything conclusive. Also, GW isn't a self-proclaimed innovator. They're an innovator because everything except Multirom was done by them first, and one or more of the clones has shown videos of their latest "own work" but had the same exact icons that Gateway had. Sounds like ripping off to me.

If this is real, it doesn't surprise me. Anyway I wouldn't become an official reseller if they don't release 2.0. So my guess here would be that, when they release it they also announce the new product just to start the hype again.

No reseller would show anyone that email even if it was real in fear of losing money, gateway also wouldnt tell the reseller they are getting rid of gateway and releasing something under a new name also in fear of it getting it leaked, they would just start new
The time this aledged email showed up is pretty convenient also

If you are too offended about GW running with your money, use the product you bought fullfilled, play all roms it can run. No one is forcing you to support their next flashcard. All available games for GW fw up to 2.01b should take some serious amount of time to play. Just ignore their new flashcard.

I am very sorry to go off topic you guys, but I just opened a new thread a moment ago and would not like to open another. I will appreciate any response you guys give. I just want to play pokemon x i just bought from the eshop but Im on gateway 1.2. I dont want to go to 2.0b2 because of the bricking fiasco that occurred. I do not want to use beta 1 as I never used beta 1 for its instability issues, saving issues, accidental emunand update causing real system updates...etc. I never used beta one after it came out and really feel iffy about it. For beta 2, I never used diagnostic mode before if that makes a difference. I also had beta 2 installed ever since it came out all the way until the bricking fiasco started wherer I immediately took it off and never looked back as I never really had any use for it, but now I would love to play pokemon x. So what do you guys think I can do? I'm not even going to bother to ask about the gateway 2.0 final update, saving my breath.

What do you mean exactly? Can you elaborate a bit? I need emunand to play pokemon x on my system but I fear a brick and your telling me to use mt card data on my gateway so that it triggers the brick code O.o
