I actually managed to buy one from Loopy before he got swamped with orders and moved to eBay the thing is fantastic and I couldn't be happier with it!

until loopy at least finishes organizing everything. Its pretty much the same board and its cheaper compared to the crazy prices the bids are at right now.

I love the idea and the drive that it took to make this device. A+ on that for sure, but I know emulators and other devices will one day be available to those of us who don't make let's play videos for YouTube. I can totally see a "Lets Play" YouTuber wanting this device immediately, for much more practical reasons, then the other crowd, who's wanting to have something others don't. Just my 2 cents.

It's a really great piece of kit, for sure, but.. $400 for just the Circuitboard? That's more than I paid for the handheld itself!

Give it time I am sure sometime down the road once all the bugs and issues have been worked out I am sure it will be mass produced by china and sold for $80 or a bit more or less. We will have to just wait and see.

Even if it IS mass produced by cheap labor for like $50 a piece, the fact that he's swamped with orders even at the price he has it at now means the price is right. (He spent a lot of time designing and developing the thing. He'd deserve the markup.)

If you want to wait, the price MIGHT go down later ... but for many, it's worth paying extra just to have it NOW.

Loopy did have everything organized, when he just registered 3dscapture.com, and we have made up a full Site + Forum + Download + Gallery + Shop system, out of Invision Power stuff (licensed), but Loopy didn't like it, and decided to move his hosting to somebody else, without notifying any of us.

Now he's trying out multiple systems, good luck on it, but we have made everything semi-perfect (some Server-side issues were found, but nothing really terrible).

It'll output to PC, but if you've got multiple gigantic displays, this is a great kit for a good price.
