I have an R4i and obviously it doesn't work cuz 11.8... and I want to play my DS games on the 3DS!
My question is: how do I install cia's?
The reason I'm asking that is because I found a way to bypass the R4i block: There's a cia that boots into the original DS bios and lets you run the flashcart from there!

I've tried 2 ways of install steelhax

One of them failed to load
The other one.... I couldn't continue with the tutorial

Please, is there a way to get homebrew for free AND install CIA's on 3DS 11.8???

(PS: I saw a video where someone installed steelhax 11.7 on 11.8.)

Wait there's a modified whitelist that lets flashcards run?
Yes, though it requires CFW (as an unsigned title), and most modern CFWs have patches that outright disable the whitelist and even more checks on DS/i cards

It also doesn't enable flashcards without a valid icon (all the golden age autobooting DS/Lite ones, like the original R4) - use NTR Launcher for those

aaand CFW is impossible for me...

buy sudoku for 2 dollars and do SeedMiner, or buy a flashcart and do NTRBoothax

I think... BBBBUUUUT U NEED CFW CIA FBI AND OTHER STUFF THAT ALMOST NO ONE KNOWS OF!!!
Ask your parents or trusted guardians if you can purchase Sudoku for $2 USD (or whatever equivalent amount of other currency), and do the Seedminer exploit.

I merged your threads together.
please, use only one thread at a time, it will not give you faster answer to post multiple duplicated threads. On the contrary, you'll get different suggestions, and people will not know what has been suggested in the other thread, which could be dangerous to do multiple things at different time.
