i,m thinking of sending my 360 off for repair to microsoft for the 3red light problem but it has been flashed the sticker is preety good so will they check the firmware on my drive and it has been banned from live,so my question is if i have to pay microsoft to repair my machine will they bin the console and give me a refurb or will they just repair my console but what will happen if my console is unrepairable will they just send it back?
The normal case: they'll fix your console and send it back OR they'll send you a new one.
This is what will happen most likely.
The worst case: they'll see that you're banned or that your drive is flashed, and they'll send your 360 back without fixing it.
I haven't heard of anyone in that case - as long as you have the warranty sticker on the console.
