They can't even get 32X games to work perfectly on a 1GHZ computer (I've tried them, they have lots of framerate drops). The DS could never handle an emulator.

Ports it COULD handle, but you'd have to have the original game's source code.

I agree that the DS couldn't handle the 32X, but it's actually quite good at Genesis. Most games are nearly perfect and have great speed and sound. There are a few games that won't boot due to a 3MB file limit, but that would be easy to fix. It's a shame Lordus has seemingly disappeared since about August. I've no idea what's happened to him. To be honest, I'm worried Sega's CIA flunkies kidnapped him for making such awesome work.

Does anyone know if Lordus is still around?

I don't have a wii u anymore to test it myself, but if homebrews are not visible on the wii u menu I think you can press L + R + minus to open the plugin menu, there should be an option called "homebrews on wii u menu" or something similar

Or when your player dies, you can say in code, if enemy exists, do nothing, but if enemy does not exist, then create enemy at certain spot. (This would be a pain tho for lots of emeies)

Easiest, simple way would be just restart scene, but player would restart from beginning.
