I'm pretty sure the figure with 3-5 hours was with everything on at max settings. When in sleep mode with StreetPass running, the GPU and backlights are not being used at least. In sleep mode, the CPU is also in a reduced operating mode (like with the DS), so it can still do stuff, just not as much at one time (which won't be a problem at all).

While 3DS is gonna have 3-5 Hours of Battery Life... are you still gonna use the street pass all the time while traveling???

That's while gaming with 3D on full. And Street Pass plays in Sleep Mode which is like 10-15.. And standby (on menu, and less consuming apps) it's 7-10 I believe.

and isn't that 3DS charger is a Dock? so how are you gonna play while the 3DS is charging?

dock's just plastic.
you plug your dsi/3ds charger into your 3ds while the 3ds is in the cradle.
