Yeah, I totaly bricked my 6 N3DS XL's and my 2DS which all came on 9.2 / 9.0 so no risky process was involved.

Piracy requires a CFW. You can only run a CFW through a kernel exploit, and the majority of them can only be run on 9.2 or lower firmware.

However, there is a kernel exploit for 9.3 to 10.3 firmwares which allows one to "downgrade" to 9.2 using special versions of sysupdater.

That is about all I will say, because we are on GBATemp.
