I want to replace the battery on my 2Ds from 1300mAh to 2000mah (or higher if possible). Will any 3Ds compatible one work on it? Currently looking at the
"Orbital 2000mAh Rechargeable Battery for 3DS XL"

any other recommendations. There is also some Mugen 2500mAh but that's not in my price range. It's $89!

You CAN'T have a bigger battery capacity without increasing the battery's size itself. All those cheap batteries don't charge up to the amount they say they do. You won't find anything at that same size with a bigger capacity. The Mugen 2DS battery is the only larger capacity battery available for the 2DS as far as I know.

get yourself a rechargeable portable battery pack and a usb 3DS charger....then you can charge whatever you like with it (phones etc) and you dont need to have a big fat battery wart on your 2DS

something like this
http://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B00OJXVDAU?psc=1
+
this
http://www.amazon.co.uk/Nintendo-Sy...id=1429475729&sr=1-1&keywords=3ds+usb+charger

and you should be set.....granted its something else to carry, but it holds more charge than the mugen one, it would work out cheaper and you can use it on several devices
