Gaming 2 of my Wii remotes are having issues turning on.

I have 3 Wii remotes, and there has NEVER been ANY issues with them, and I've had them since early 2007.
Just recently, 2 of them decided to not work anymore. I replaced the batteries, tried syncing, everything. No LED lights show up at all. I'm really mad, because I play a lot of multiplayer games, and only playing games compatible with GCN controllers sucks.

Help? Are my controllers dead? Do I need to spend $40 on 2 new Wiimotes?

Consult Nintendo.
Here in holland they'll replace the controller for a lot less then a new one.

( 27,50 euro on "switch around" basis )
