Raeca (longstanding member of the inner circles of EZFlash) released a preview of one of the upcoming kernel.
Dubbed Kernel v1.86.80919WP it is based on 1.86 rather than the 1.8x open beta line (for more info on those see here: http://gbatemp.net/index.php?showtopic=106162 ) so you will not have the new features from that.
