Webyugioh, thanks for posting the link... There's just one problem with it. They are advertising that holder as working with the slim. It will not fit in the slim, and the box art even says PSP-1000 only.

It's not a problem for you, but I don't want a slim owner reading that sales link and buying one of the holders.

And to add to what Originality said, the magic gate check can be found in:

Settings / System Settings / System Information

It will also list your FW version and your MAC address.

Hmmm, Originality, that is strange. My new Sandisk Ultra II 4gb. looks exactly like the pic Webyugioh posted. And I just bought it yesterday from Bestbuy, so I'm almost sure it's not a fake. Maybe there are just two different designs out? This is a mystery!

Just a different design I'm sure. If you're worried, use your PSP to check for Magicgate. Fakes don't support it.

It truely is. Unfortunately, if you can vouch for the authenticity of the first design, and I can vouch for the authenticity of the second design, then we can only conclude that they're both authentic. Maybe it's a regional thing...

I double-checked on my PSP, it says "Magicgate Supported". So it definitely is two different designs. That's a relief

My 2GB card is just NOT cutting it any more for my PSP.
