So i recently update to 12.0 which im told still allows homebrew on atmosphere, and my homebrew just crashes the console any time i attempt to load anything. im pretty sure i have the nro in the right spot but if someone wants to fact check that lemme know but i can't figure out what the problem is, games work fine, but for whatever reason specifically homebrew is broken.

I have the same problem, i have the latest ATM with sigpatches, every game i had installed works just fine, and the HBmenu open (both applet and normal mode) my card is formated in Fat32, but HBMenu doesnt load ANY app, ChoidujourNX crashes at opening, and Tinfoil and Goldleaf just make me return to the HBMenu when i open them

ChoidujourNX - stop using it, its not updated for 12.X and probably never will be.

Sounds to me like you guys did a dirty update and didn't properly overwrite files.

I did delete the atmosphere and sept folder before updating, and what alternative there is for ChoidujourNX?

What does the console say when it crashes?

What homebrews ? Because they do need to be updated for them to work. Those who aren't updated because the devs aren't active anymore will remain unusable

i have this exact problem. newest sig patches. games that are already installed run fine. but i wanted to install a newer game, tinfoil, lithium, and goldleaf fail. daybreak opens, but cant find the files. wondering what the issue is. any update on how to fix would be great.

can you elaborate on the term 'right spot' in relation to files and folders on the switch sd card?

So in the past i have use some Nro's sucessfully from the root and never had an issue, now a few of the guides i have read suggest i should put the NRO in the atmos folder but even when i do it still crashes, so i resorted to putting it multiple spots just so it would work.

NRO files for the HB M*enu should be in SD:\switch\

@Xdqwerty No you heard wrong, and don't believe till you experience yourself. Fallout 4 is one of my favorite games of all time. Yes it had issues early on, esp with older hardware like the xbox1, but it is awesome, esp now being 4k on Series S/X or PS5

@BigOnYa, Then i think people were talking about fallout 76
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
    that one was buggy too
  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
Yea you right there, fallout 76 was a letdown, but it not that bad now, they have fixed slot of issues they had at launch. Biggest issue with Fallout 76 is its a pay to advance further type of game, which sucks
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
@BigOnYa, I may probably download fallout 3 or new vegas on my ps3
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
cuz I didnt like fallout 1 that much
  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
New Vegas is awesome, F3 was ok too.
