the stability only means they patched stuff like homebrew to make the browser more stable so it does not crash on those exploit sites

Mah, I'd test to see if Corbenik is still working, I mean it should be since the FIRM0/1 patches are based on Luma3DS patches. But right now I don't have a hardmod nor a spare system.
Plus there's just no reason for me to really update.

old firm still works with 11.1. they didn't fix the hardmod downgrade so you can still use 11.0 firm to boot

Im just gonna take this update like they have given up with patching a lot of stuff it took this long just to block some Homebrew exploits. I dont think they are trying hard enough to patch A9LH and piracy things. (ex. Freeshop)

if you already have the card, then you can use it for ".3ds" games.

No big deal, I can wait for a fix or if it doesn't I'll switch. Maybe. The only other cfw I have is the old rxtools 2.4 but I've long abandon it because of the abyssmal boot rate.

2.4 is ancient. the latest one is 3.0. but nobody recommends rxTools anymore, everyone is moving towards arm9loaderhax + Luma3DS.

@ngagethetaco I don"t think RxTools 2.4 works with lastest update, but I think 3.0 does, there are otherCFW by the way that also supports MSET exploit if you want to use one of them.
@NichyXD From Redirection Nand (RedNand or EmuNand), yes, you can do it without problems.
