Tuxsh's SysUpdater.
Try to update back to 10.3 and downgrade again this time using steveice10's release.. or use the last version of rxtools

Which sysupdater do I use? I keep getting "Unable to get CIA information.." error. It's annoying the hell out of me.

Steveice10's release
Do you use a mac to transfer your files ? Also, check their checksum before and after transfering them to your sd card

I didn't use mac, checked the MD5 multiple times, and checked the checksum multiple times, it just refuses to get the CIA files. It worked before with an earlier released. So, I don't understand why it's not working now.

Any one who has installed some form of themehax/menuhax probably needs to boot the 3DS without the SD card installed after downgrading. ;)
Only if you were on 9.3-10.1
menuhax for 10.2-10.3 relies on theme shuffle which simply does not exist on 9.2

I have the feeling that you people who are on a firmware below 10.0 can downgrade without any problem...
Went from 10.3 to 9.2, had 5 games installed from legit .cias

If anyone would like to test something, I have made some modifications to sysUpdater to hopefully make downgrading more stable. UPDATE: This has been tested, with reports of success. Use at your own risk, however, as always with downgrading.

This contains two primary modifications:
  • Deletes each title before installing its replacement, rather than deleting every title to downgrade before installing anything. This ensures that there won't be a bunch of missing titles if a downgrade fails.
  • When downgrading, installs NATIVE_FIRM after all other titles, rather than before, to ensure that there won't be an older NATIVE_FIRM incompatible with remaining newer titles after a failure.

I'm trying to use this but it keeps saying:

titleException:
main.cpp:108: Result: 0xD900182F
Failed to get CIA file info!

I'm using a New Nintendo 3DS, my entry point is homemenuhax and the .cia files for downgrade are on the roots of the microSD card in a folder called "updates" can someone help me please?
Oh yeah, I'm trying to downgrade from 10.3.0-28E to 9.2.0-20E

Me too..on New Nintendo 3DS. I checked everything multiple times-- I don't get why it worked on the earlier release, though..

I've updated back to 10.3, but I'm now getting two black screens whenever I try to load Steveice's SysUpdater. All other homebrew works just fine...

Well, managed to get it working, somehow. But now I get the same error as @DKB and @LukeyWolf. That same error message. It worked before with the other SysUpdater... why did ever thought it was a good idea to go back to 10.3?

I feel stupid myself. But, in the next few hours/days, more hax should be released to cure this type of crap. Because, quite a few people have successfully downgraded to 9.2 with the OLD firmware, which means that something was going right for them.

Well, got into sysUpdater 0.4.2b (mch2) but after it downgraded it just says "An error has occured" (Updated back to 10.3 of course) so I'm just going to have to wait

same problem here. i have n3ds xl 9.9.0 eu

Well, I'm back on 9.2 after downgrading with TuxSH's SysUpdater. I'll have to set up my emuNAND again. What guide is everyone using to install RxTools on N3DS? I've tried a few to no success.

Made a tutorial for obtaining CFW after downgrading. https://gbatemp.net/threads/tutorial-setting-up-cfw-on-n3ds-after-downgrading.408087/#post-5923695

Can I use CubicNinja Method to do the downgrade on my N3DS 10.3U?
I'm wondering, because I don't want to install menuhax!
