They tried updating. Even if you spoofed or changed the nver it would still say there's an update. Also, their Firmloader has an option to boot into emunand, yet they never selected it. Not to mention the fact that the description says that emunand is rip :P
They tried updating after they were booted into emunand.
This only proves they got FW>9.5 emunand working on n3ds

maybe cause they don't need it since it works in synand
More like since it (probably) unpatchably works in sysNAND.

If it worked in sysNAND right now, you'd eventually need to update anyway because Nintendo introduced some incompatible changes eventually. Being able to say emuNAND is dead probably means Nintendo can't patch it.

But why would they? They have private exploits and are also using public ones too. They've been working on arm9loaderhax before even the presentation. :P
They could just be trying to fool us into beliving them.
If they livestream without holding the R button during boot, and show us the unmodified settings and update, I will believe them.
The video just has to many loose ends and chances for faking for me to believe it.

Well, that's what teasing is about. They lure you in with questions and then sooner or later you'll find out. Trust me though, they already proven that they have this stuff.

I have my hopes low but what gets me is the boot up

The whole point of that video is to make people salty and get them attention. Best thing to do is not caring about this. If it were real, nothing would be released anyway

I'm not saying that it is fake, but I am saying that the way they presented everything leaves a lot of room for trickery.

The main thing is that it's possible and that they have more exploits so we're not out of tricks when our public ones are patched. Not to mention that they may have created a solution to forever be on a modified sysnand.

why worry about this memuchunkhax2 will actually come out that will not most likely
Pretty much. Also, I forgot to mention that if you can get arm9loaderhax, you could possibly inject a payload to write a nandbackup if you brick. :P
(I think, at least. I'm unsure if any of that stuff boots up b4 it determines that it's bricked.)

Looking at their 3dbrew edits, I doubt they're bullshitting. And in fact, I also believe it's feasible for them to have the bootroms.

rip us, I guess
