I'm assuming this was tried with the pasta that actually can boot in hax 2.x?
A lot of those CFW have trouble booting in hax past ninjhax1.0 without an offset or CTRbootmanager.

I faithfully believe the people who have downgraded already tried every possibility.

Hm, wonder why all that stuff isn't working then.
Could NATIVE_FIRM possibly have not been downgraded along with the rest of the system titles? As far as I'm aware a 3DS doesn't brick if NATIVE_FIRM is of a version higher than the rest of the system titles, but it does block you from using any of the kernel exploits.

In other news it took me thousands of tries but I finally managed to get FBI to start up so I can at least get MK7 on my other 3DS. :p

I've read everything in this thread to hopefully ensure that I don't accidentally repost something.

So i've been thinking that since we have atleast legit CIA install access, why not downgrade the browser first, run the gateway-3ds exploit, and make a NAND backup. Afterwards, hardmod the console and then attempt downgrading.

So... no full downgrade then? Did they not downgrade some needed titles or it's just bugged?
Besides that, there are titles added after 9.2. I suspect Sysupdater would remove these added titles.
Eh but i doubt this. If you have access to HBL, install Menuhax again (since you're on a different version).

You need more than just a lower browser version to run such kernel exploits.

No, they didn't. That's not the issue at all.

Would you care to explain what happened? At first I thought those systems didn't downgrade at all, but then NATIVE_FIRM looks patched. Did sysupdater failed to replace some titles indeed or more things should be downgraded in order to achieve a stable system? I don't mind if its by PM, just curious.
