Hi,

Hope this isn't a question that has been asked over and over (I know how annoying that is). When I soft reset out of a game with AKAIO 1.81, it boots me to the AKAIO menu, but it has reset the theme to the original one. I've never had this problem on the older versions and it really isn't that big of a deal, but it would be nice to be able to keep my favourite theme on.

Thanks!

Back up your custom themes out of the /_aio/ui/ folder, then delete the _aio folder and akmenu4.nds.
Replace with a fresh copy, put your themes back on.

If that doesn't do it...
1 - Back up everything.
2 - Run this. How to do it depends on your version of windows. http://www.google.com/search?q=diskmgmt
3 - In the disk management, find your SD card, and erase/delete/remove the current partition.
4 - Make a new one, FAT, and let it format/apply.

That should stop it.

God, when I saw 1.81, I thought you meant an old version of the official firmware or something.

Should be "AKAIO 1.8.1"
Technically 1.81 would be a newer version than 1.8.1, 81 being 73 more than 8.

No, simply because AKAIO isn't the official menu.
Fisharman P said 'official firmware' (meaning menu).

This is a bug introduced in 1.8 series.

@Rydian

I tried your step before, it didn't do the trick. I tried several times on delete/create new partition as well as FAT16/FAT32. None which does the trick.

Actually this was introduced around 1.6 RC1. Use Gparted. Waiting for a new version of AKAIO will not fix your problem.

Strangely, this does not happen when I use 1.7.1. GParted does not solve this problem.
