    echoes of wisdom is fun gameplay-wise but i find myself caring less and less about the game the more i see things from botw
    like the sheikah, gerudo designs etc

    Me too. I've barely played TotK, it just feels too similar and I don't have the patience for the excessive amount of collectibles. I'll probably get through it eventually, but what I really want right now is a traditional 3D Zelda.

    I would rather go back and replay OoT or Wind Waker right now than continue TotK. I hope the next Zelda game will be more traditional. BotW and TotK feel like a lot of quantity over quality, and I'd rather have a shorter more concise game with higher overall quality.

    the PS5 controller is surprisingly the most versatile, self contained, and compatible controller I've ever used... why do many older games work with the PS5 controller that didn't work with the PS4 one even with a bunch of tinkering :wtf:

    That is true. Mine drifts out of the deadzone *out of the box*. Like, just plugging it in, reading raw values, it's drifting left, *without touching the sticks at all*.
    It's madness, lol.

    Edit: it's definitely some quality issue. My DS2 is whoever-knows-how-many years old, and still has zero drift.

    i haven't had drift issues beyond what you'd normally see out of controllers in their prime- 5-6% deadzone needed at most- so i'm just hoping i lucked out on a controller for once because i've heard many drift complaints about this one

    nintendo can innovate and trendset like no other company out there can... so why do they allow "pokemon 1 remaster #897 now with 20 additional increasingly unappealing pokemon" to release on their platforms each year

    Because that's not entirely under Nintendo's purview. I dunno how the business tree looks, but that franchise is essentially co-owned by Creatures Inc. and The Pokémon Company, afaik, and that gives those two lazy companies some measure of control.

    I feel old and I've only just graduated high school. There are kids a few years younger than me that have said "oh a DS? My dad used to have one of those," and talking about the DS as if it were some relic from before their time. I. Am. Young. Please little children stop making me feel like I'm 30.
