Hello my buddies. I just bought a 1TB USBKey on eBay that I would like to use to archive old animation series, downloading and copying them (via otg and microUSB adapter) directly from my smartphone. Being very cheap, there is an application for Android (not for PC) that allows you to test the true capacity of the key: if it's a scam I'll open a dispute on eBay.

For the first time in my life I bought something, which I personally call "bum's happiness" (Hard to translate the actual word: meaning a source of happiness/joy for poor and/or homeless person – which is meant devalue the stuff, not a person). I bought it just to see how you will react on this (thinking back to a previous discussion).
Do you think peer review for publishing stuff in academic journals works? Especially on non natural science subjects like sociology, philosophy, politics.
How likely would you think would it be to successfully get total nonsense and/or extremist ideas published in reputable journals?
