A Latin motto of non-classical origin, not very common here. It brings to mind the phrase of Terence: "aliis si licet, tibi non licet." No wonder, nothing new under the sun: a double moral present in all times and places. Those with money, power and celebrity are allowed what the common man is denied.
A fond greeting. 😉

Recently I was reflecting on how fortunate you are to have been born in a nation that has produced so many great and wonderful novelists, philosophers, thinkers, etc.: this is a result of the seriousness of the German spirit. Over here, where it is always carnival, laughing, enjoying and lazing around, it could not happen. But we have other virtues: ❤️

Unfortunately I have to leave now.
And unfortunately (stupid copyright laws: I have the original BD) I didn't find a better instance on [YouTube] Amadeus. Italians don't know about love… at least for Italian operas. Can't stop laughing.
"Stupid fat couples rolling their eyes about, that's not love, it's rubbish!"

About Germany: It's broken beyond repair. Nothing left of the "country of poets and thinkers". Ruled by idiots, dying out, defective school system, infrastructure collapsing, material wealth going down the drain. In a few years I guess this whole country will be a criminal no-go area.
